Honestly, the small print.

Early Access Terms

Last updated: 18 October 2026. These terms cover the Honestly website and pre-launch waitlist.

Who we are

Honestly is operated by Firebox Creative Limited, registered in England and Wales (company number 09207352). Registered office: 11 Watson Place, London, SE25 5EX. Contact: support@honestly.date.

Joining the list

You must be at least 18 and use an email address you control. Registration is free. We ask for your email and launch city so we can let you know about Honestly’s launch and early access. Our initial launch cities are Manchester and London.

What early access means

Joining registers your interest. It does not create a dating profile, start a paid subscription, guarantee admission or a place in a queue, or promise a launch date. We may invite people in stages, change the launch plans, or decide not to launch. We will communicate material changes through the launch list where appropriate.

The service we’re building

Honestly is being developed as a swipe-free way to date, with the aim of preventing catfishing. Descriptions on this pre-launch website describe our intended direction. Final features and availability will be explained at launch. No dating service can guarantee another person’s identity, behaviour, safety, compatibility, or a particular outcome.

Your email and privacy

We use your details as explained in our Privacy Notice. The form asks separately for your consent to launch and early-access emails. You can leave the list at any time by emailing support@honestly.date. We will not enrol you in unrelated marketing.

Using this website

Please do not submit someone else’s details without permission, send spam, attempt to access private records, or interfere with the website. The Honestly name, wordmark, and website content belong to Firebox Creative Limited or their respective licensors.

Availability and responsibility

We take reasonable care with the website, but it may be changed or temporarily unavailable. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

When the app launches

Using the app will require separate account creation and acceptance of the app’s terms and privacy information. We may update these waitlist terms as the launch develops. These terms are governed by English law; you retain any mandatory legal protections and rights to bring proceedings in the courts where you live in the UK.
